The Whole In One, Part 2: A Survey of the New Testament

*This course is now available to take by video at your own pace.
For many people the Bible is long, confusing, and even intimidating, and making sense of it can be daunting even for Christians who have heard many parts of it read or have tried to read it themselves. If Sacred Scripture is God’s gift to his people as the Church teaches, then why, we might wonder, did he give us words that are hard to understand, and that sound strange and sometimes even offensive?
Having surveyed the Old Testament in Part 1, this ten week course will survey the entire New Testament and complete the project of journeying through every book of the Bible in one year. We’ll show you how to become more familiar with the Bible by providing a framework that is easy to grasp, and a panoramic view of Sacred Scripture’s unified testimony: the one God of heaven and earth, revealed in Jesus Christ across two testaments.
You are not required to have taken Part 1 in order to register for Part 2. Anyone is welcome to join in this study. If, however, you would like to journey through the Old Testament as well, you may register for the online section of Part 1 here.
