In this blog, I return to my roots with the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS) and ask how St. Paul would approach a modern Bible study. It’s no small feat of courage to stand out among a group of peers and be willing to lead them into a deeper encounter of faith through a small group Bible study. But how can we be sure that the same gospel message—once preached by St. Paul and now entrusted to us—is being passed on to the next generation with the same conviction and fervor? This blog helps to navigate that question by looking at the various characteristics we see in Paul and reflecting on how we can embody those same things in our own day and age. St. Paul, pray for us.
