Board of Directors
The Emmaus Institute for Biblical Studies is governed by an independent Board of Directors comprising ex-officio and appointed directors. Appointed directors are chosen from lay parishioners, religious, and clergy from the Diocese of Lincoln who are educationally oriented and who exhibit a passion for Christ, his Church, its mission, and Sacred Scripture. The Board takes an active ownership in the Institute’s vision, mission, core values, strategies, and goals as it oversees the management of its affairs and the execution of its mission.

“Just as the two men on the road to Emmaus saw profound truths in Jesus’ teaching on the short journey, these current professionals feel, live, and deliver the Word of God for the layperson to be enlightened. They do such a good job that priests also use their instruction to become more knowledgeable in the Bible. Donors can rest in the certainty that their contributions are used both efficiently and effectively.”
