This is the first of three four-week courses in one semester, in which we’ll study the ways God reveals himself and accomplishes his program by raising up three key figures at three critical times for three strategic roles. Equally relevant to both women and men (and both are welcome!), these courses will focus in turn on how God works in quiet ways through the ordinary and the everyday, the incidental and the accidental (Ruth); how God works through the heroic chastity and bravery of a virgin (Judith); and how God works through providential coincidence and divine reversal (Esther).
This is the first time we’ll offer two sections of the same course for your convenience. Thursdays 9:30-11:00 a.m. and 6:30-8:00 p.m., beginning September 3.
Thanks to a generous grant from the Diocese of Lincoln, this course is being offered free of charge.
