Battles and visions and dragons—oh my! The book of Revelation can often leave its reader with the Oz effect: ‘I don’t think we’re in the Bible anymore.’ How is one supposed to understand the many twists and turns of such a unique book? Through the centuries, many faithful (and not so faithful) have attempted to unlock its hidden meanings and messages, resulting in a cacophony of opinions, interpretations, and proposals that only further complicate the book.

In this five-week course we will read the book of Revelation from the heart of the Church, with our eyes fixed on Christ, in order to understand its message as God’s Word and to receive it faithfully as such. In doing so, the last book of the Bible will no longer remain shrouded in mystery, but opened and revealed, drawing the faithful reader in to the hope of restoration, consummation, and creation renewed.

This five-week course is open to all who wish to encounter Christ. It is designed to deepen our knowledge of God and to move our hearts toward greater faith and devotion as we meet our Lord in the life-transforming message of Sacred Scripture.

    Hi Joshua,
I would like to attend the Revelation study and encourage Sacred Heart Parishioners to attend with me. Let me know seating/attendance capacity in case I get a large response.

    In Christ,

    Bryan

Hi Bryan, great to hear from you—and thanks for your willingness to spread the word. Our Bellarmine Hall here at the Institute maxes at 50 students. Currently we have about 30 individuals enrolled to take the in-person option, so we still have some room to grow. Thanks!
